THE BIG PRIMARY SCHOOL GAME
Publisher: Noordhoff | Co-author: Jan van der Veen | Ages: 6+ | Players: 2-5 | Playing time: 15-20 min.
By answering questions, you can earn diplomas or step cards. Whoever collects all diplomas first is the winner. Step cards are used to get to other diplomas faster. With a trick or bluff, you can make it easier for yourself, or more difficult for the other players.
A special feature of the game is that each player plays at their own level. The box contains question cards for groups 3 to 8, 360 questions for each group, and each player answers questions from their own group. This allows children from different groups to play the game against each other.
The Big Primary School Game is a fun and educational game, with hundreds of questions for each group. Gameplay is easy to learn, and the game has a separate board for groups 3-4 (10-15 minutes playing time) and for groups 5-8 (30 minutes playing time). Children from different groups can play together at the same level, as each child answers questions from his or her group. Whoever is first to get all the diplomas of all 6 subjects wins the game.

Game rules
Apart from the base game there is a separate expansion set for each year group: even more fun, difficult and challenging questions, tailored to the subject matter and the level of that group.
There are also specialist sets: questions about a specific subject. In this way, every child can enter their own interest into The Big Primary School Game, by replacing one of the subjects for a specialist subject of their choosing.
There’s also a set for parents, with questions about six subjects on secondary school level.
And there are extension sets with questions for all year groups about a specific school subject: the masters sets. Instead of getting diplomas for six school subjects, you can earn your diplomas with these sets for six different parts of a single subject (e.g. maths, language).
